Glenda woke up at 7 and went to the verandah to read while I finally woke up at 7:30. It was 79 degrees with 87 percent humidity under cloudy skies with 19 knot winds. We had coffee on the verandah and went to breakfast at 9:15 shocking anyone we knew that we were up so early. Then we went to back deck. Glenda in her sun chair as the clouds had disappeared and I worked on the crossword and read. I went back to the cabin at 11:20 to update the blog and check email until 11:45 when I returned to the back deck. We stayed out there until 2 when we went back to the cabin to prepare to go to the 2nd qualifying round of the slot tournament. When we got there, I was still on the board in 3rd, but Glenda had been bumped out of the top six. She made 3 attempts to qualify, but was unsuccessful while I eventually got bumped to 4th but still made the finals where I ended up in 4th and received a Club 21 cap. Then, to kill some time before bingo, we played on some other slots for about 20 before our contribution was exhausted. At bingo, we again got close but did not win. After dinner we went to the Crow's Nest until 11. I visited with one of the performers and later with Peter, Barbie, Casey, Ken and Ron.
