Thea's Hotel
In the metro terminal

We woke up at 6:30 before our 7 am wake up call. It was 68 degrees under sunny skies. Thea and I went to the front desk since she had not been given any information concerning her disembarkation. They gave her back her passport and said that they would start calling around 9 or 9:30. We stopped by the Lido to get coffee and Thea got some breakfast to take back to the cabin. I updated the blog for yesterday as we finished dressing and Glenda went to the aft deck to watch our arrival at 7:45. Thea finished packing and we waited. She had to get off at 8:15 and we didn't get called until 9:15. We met her in the terminal and I changed my Yen and some US$ and we took a taxi to her hotel on Hong Kong Island. It was a long ride and we got to her hotel at 10:10. Since her room would not be ready before 2, we walked to the Metro Station and rode it back to Kowloon arriving at 11:15. We walked until 12:15 when we stopped in a McDonalds for Cokes and restroom stop. At 1:10, Glenda and I caught a taxi back to the terminal since she couldn't walk any further. We got back onboard at 2 and ran into Sonny and Twinkle and met their kids who just boarded for 7 days. They seem like great kids and we told them we were going to tell tales on their parents. I left Glenda on the aft deck recuperating and went to the cabin to make some progress on the blog. I went up with Glenda and we had desserts at 3:45 and I worked the crossword. We went back to the cabin at 4:30 and texted Thea that we wouldn't be able to get out tonight as we were neither up to walking through the terminal and back let alone the other walking that would be involved to go to the night market. We read until 5:45 and then went to dinner in the Lido. We ate on the aft deck but the food up there was not great as we are spoiled by the La Fontaine. I went back to the cabin at 7 and watched some of game 6 of the World Series for 45 minutes an then went back up to the aft deck to see the nightly laser show, but if it was done, we couldn't see it from this new terminal. We went to the cabin at 8:15 and read until we fell asleep from all our walking a bit after 9.
