We had a record snowfall in Dallas yesterday of 11.2 inches. The
previous record was 7.8 inches in 1964. Luckily, it did not get really
cold overnight and did not create a bunch of ice on the streets. Many
schools and businesses were closed due to the streets or power outages.
It is currently 35 degrees and it is melting off of the trees and
houses. It is supposed to be in the 50's tomorrow, so , as they say in
Texas, "If you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes!"
